Japan Healthcare Info. (JHI) is a social entrepreneur organization founded in 2010. Our healthcare professional staff are dedicated to providing service in order to enhance well-being of international community in Japan.

To Get Pregnant
On getting pregnant, consult general ob/gyn doctor or fertility specialists.
Often we consult with general ob/gyn first, then the doctor will refer you to the specialist facilities.

Costs
Consultations and procedures are partially covered by Japanese Health Insurance.
AIH (Artificial insemination by husband) : costs about 200,000 yen
IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) : 300,000 to 500,000 yen
These costs vary depending on your provider. We are happy to find out about quotes.
Expense assistance
Your local city may assist the costs for fertility treatment. For the household whose income is less than 6,500,000 yen/year, the city reimburses up to 100,000 yen fertility treatment costs.
