To Get Pregnant

On getting pregnant, consult general ob/gyn doctor or fertility specialists.

Often we consult with general ob/gyn first, then the doctor will refer you to the specialist facilities.

JHI can find fertility specialists for you. Contact us.

Costs

Consultations and procedures are partially covered by Japanese Health Insurance.

AIH (Artificial insemination by husband) : costs about 200,000 yen

IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) : 300,000 to 500,000 yen

These costs vary depending on your provider.

Expense assistance

Your local city may assist the costs for fertility treatment. For the household whose income is less than 6,500,000 yen/year, the city reimburses up to 100,000 yen fertility treatment costs.

JHI will find out if your local city has this service and help you make an application. Contact us.
