About JHI
Japan Healthcare Info. (JHI) is a social entrepreneur organization founded in 2010. Our healthcare professional staff are dedicated to providing service in order to enhance well-being of international community in Japan.
JHI is a selected member of the most renowned non-profit Japanese social entrepreneur training organization and awarded Japanese government grant in 2010.
Fees
Yearly membership fee
The Yearly Membership is 1,000 yen per month for adults and 5,000 yen per year for students and child members under 18, plus 1000 yen processing fee for each enrollment application. A 10% discount is given to families (Two parents and at least one child) that enroll at the same time.
The fees for a family of three would be as follows:
Two parents: 24,000 yen
One child: 5,000 yen
Processing fee: 1,000 yen
Total before discount: 30,000 yen

The Yearly Membership gives you unlimited use of our services, including emergency assistance. The services we provide to our members include the following:
Location of medical providers in your area that meet your needs, and we will set up appointments on your behalf.
Emergency assistance. We will help you find an appropriate medical provider and contact them so that they can prepare for your arrival. We can also call for an ambulance on your behalf. (Ambulance call services only are available 24 hours a day to our members)
Translation of healthcare service-related Japanese documents you need to submit to medical providers/City Hall/Social Services/Health Insurer.
Help locating child care services, such as kindergarten or day care in your area and assistance making an enrollment application.
These services are available for paying members from 9 am to 9 pm, including weekends and holidays.
Members are not required to pay additional fees for services provided. These are included in the Yearly Membership.
Cost per service
Providing information on local hospitals is a FREE service we offer. We provide a prompt reply, average time to get back to you is 60 to 90 min after receiving all the required information. Depending on your inquiry, we may need more time to provide requested information.
Fees are charged for appointment-making and additional assistance beyond hospital location.
Making appointments or other coordination: 1,100 yen
Express service within 60-90* minutes is guaranteed for this service during Consultation Hours
*unless our enquiry volumes are not high and we are not doing a workshop/event
Writing Japanese documents, such as hospital/day care admission applications or applications for insurance benefits: 3,000-5,000 yen
Assistance with coordinating an emergency hospital visit via ambulance: 2200 yen. (For non-members, this service is only available from 9 am to 5 pm., For members it is free of charge).
